Hello 😉
James and I were lucky enough to be part of this years L’Oréal Colour Specialist Congress which was held in London.
Day One, and after a flight down to London, we arrived at the L’Oréal Academy in Hammersmith…excited for what the next two days would bring! After a welcome presentation, guest artists Adam Reed and Siobhan Golden both did a group presentation on trends and colour placement – which was amazing!
In the evening, a retro style London bus took us to The Ham Yard Hotel in Soho where we enjoyed a drinks reception and watched Dior and I. Dior and I was very interesting and so inspirational – watching how each collection is created and the teamwork involved to make each outfit perfect, was incredible to see!
Day Two was more of a hands on experience, working along side the guest artists. After being put into groups and selecting a model, we had to create a trend by selecting 2 photos, a colour palette and style that would suit our model. We also got to work with a make-up artist and stylist help to create our look. After the models hair was coloured and styled, their make up was on and their clothes selected, we got to then sit back and enjoy the catwalk collection we had created as a team – the whole day was so much fun!
It was a fab 2 days, full of inspiration and excitement!!!
