Aberdeen University Charity Fashion Show

by | Jun 14, 2017

On the 1st March, Aberdeen University held a charity fashion show at Unit 51 and this year they were raising money for 34 different local charities!!!

Hanna, Natalie, Freya and myself were delighted to be asked to help out and do the hair for the fashion show models. We were asked to create hair styles to fit 2 different themes – Reckless (my fave) and Big Glamour Waves.

We went for a big braid down the middle of the hair, which changed into a fish tail plait. We then created a lot of texture into the hair by waving, curling and crimping. Once combined with the big, dark, smokey eyes make-up that Clarisse did, the whole look came together really well!

There was a great buzz throughout the day and we did a total of 28 models (!!!) with a mixture of the 2 styles on the ladies as well as texturized styles on the gents.

We had a brilliant time and all really enjoyed doing something different for the day with prepping the models before the fashion show – and all to raise money for great causes!

I’d like to say a massive WELL DONE to Emma and the team for organizing such an amazing event, and a huge THANK YOU for inviting us to be involved in the days preparations!

We’re all looking forward to hearing how much was raised on the night.
