CLOTHES SHOW LIVE
Back in December, Georgia from our David Lloyd salon was lucky enough to be working as part of the Saks UK hair team, backstage at the Clothes Show Live event which was held at the NEC Birmingham. The team were there to style hair for the celebrities and models that were taking part in the event! Go Georgia…
CERTIFIED COLOURIST QUALIFICATION ACHIEVEMENT
Also back in December, stylist Hanna from our Union Square salon became the FIRST ever stylist across all of the UK and Ireland to achieve the new L’Oréal Certified Colourist qualification.
Well Done to our Hanna – what a fantastic achievement!!!
SAKS ABERDEEN AWARDS NIGHT 2016
Our staff Christmas party this year was a chance for all the team to let their hair down and party after all their hard work throughout the madness of December. This year the Saks Aberdeen Awards were BACK and some of our stylists and therapists were awarded a trophy for their outstanding work throughout the year. Team members also voted for each other in some fun categories such as ‘best dressed’, ‘best hair’, ‘biggest drama queen’, etc.
Massive congratulations to all the award winners and special shout out to our DAVID LLOYD team who were voted Salon Of The Year!
A great night was had by all the team…but maybe not such a great Sunday morning!!!
SAKS GATHERING 2017
Earlier this month, some of the team headed off to London for this years ‘Saks Gathering’, held at the Hilton Metropole in London. A great chance for Saks stylists and therapists from all over the country to meet up and celebrate all things Saks!
During the evening, the team enjoyed the live launch of our new 2017 collection ‘ALL THAT AND MORE’, an awards ceremony followed by a fab aftershow party, with 500 fellow Saksy people partying until the early hours!!!
